Kata Beach with its whites sands and crystal clear waters is layed back.. the kind of place you can meet sometone in relatively quiet and become friends and lovers. Besides girl (or boy) watching, Kata Beach is the best place to watch, or surf and surf boards are available if you left yours at home. How nice is the Kata beach? Club Med has a village right here... walk along the beach through village, browse the souvenir shops, designer ourlets and cafes or sign up for a tour and visit the countryside.

Entertainment.
If you're into loud music played live, head for the Easyriders Pub that features live music. Much of the nightlife in Kata is family-oriented and low key. The Taina Rd area is busy after dark. You can play a round of mini-golf at Dino Park or dine at the Jurassic theme restaurant. Check out the fire breathing dragon, it's nice place to bring children.

Restaurants & Pubs

The three main dishes served in Kata Beach are lobster, lobster and Tex-Mex... really! You will see lobsters displayed outside many restrauants along with tiger prawns and fish prepared fresh on the spot. There are also fine restaurants serving Indian, Italian, Scandinavian adn Tex Mex. Into fine wine? Mom Tri's Boathouse boutique resort boasts award-winning wine cellar at its restaurant... anybody have a cork screw?
